UD police seek hit-and-run suspect

University Police are seaching for a vehicle that hit a police cruiser Saturday morning and did not stop.

Police say a university officer was driving east on Apple Road through the intersection with Elkton Road at 1:30 a.m. when a gray SUV turning onto Apple Road took the turn too wide and hit the police car. The driver of the SUV did not stop.

The police car was damaged, but no one was injured.
