Student robbed outside Memorial Hall

A 19-year-old student was robbed outside Memorial Hall by three teenagers early Thursday morning, university police said.

The student was walking along the east side of the building at 3:13 a.m. when a teen ran past and turned around to face the student, police said. Two more teens approached from behind and punched the student.

Police said the teens knocked the student to the ground, stole his cell phone and wallet and fled toward South College Avenue.

The student did not require medical attention.

All three teens were male. Once was wearing an orange shirt and shorts, and the other two were wearing T-shirts and shorts.
