Men's Lacrosse: The Hens continued their hot start to the CAA season with two victories over their nearby rivals over break. On March 26, they came back from a 5-0 deficit to defeat defending regular season champion Towson 8-7. Goaltender Noah Fossner allowed only two goals in the final three quarters and was named CAA Player of the Week for his efforts. Eric Smith gave Delaware its first and only lead of the game with just over four minutes remaining in the game. One week later, the Hens again came back from trailing by multiple goals to defeat Drexel in Philadelphia. Midfielders John Mills and freshman Brendan Gilson, who would go on to receive the CAA Rookie of the Week award, scored back to back goals in the fourth quarter to seal it. The 3-0 start is the best start in conference for Delaware since it joined the CAA in 2002.

Women's Lacrosse: Despite bringing a three-game winning streak into Saturday's conference opener against Towson, the Hens could not hang on in overtime, losing 9-8 in two overtimes. Delaware took the lead in the first extra session but the Tigers equalized with four seconds left to force sudden death. The Hens trailed the whole game before they were able to force overtime by scoring three straight to tie it at seven. They did pick up a win over break, demolishing Saint Mary's 17-5 Wednesday. Morgan Leonard and Holly Burman had four goals. Corrine Drost and Julianna Jeffers picked up hat-tricks on the day.

Baseball: Delaware lost a series with William & Mary after being swept in a doubleheader March 26. It did win the first game of the series the day before, 6-2. Over break, the Hens bounced back with a 15-12 extra inning win over Temple thanks to a walk-off, three-run homerun by Nick Ferdinand. This past weekend it took two out of three from CAA foe Georgia State. Freshman infielder E.J. Stoltzfus garnered CAA Rookie of the Week honors. Delaware stands in second place in the CAA standing behind James Madison.

Softball: The Hens opened up their conference season by taking two of three from George Mason before being swept by Hofstra this past weekend. They did not get much offense on Long Island, scoring a combined two runs across three games and got shut out 1-0 on Sunday. Kathleen Conway pitched a complete game shutout against George Mason with 14 strikeouts for Delaware's first CAA victory.
