Comedian Andy Samberg will perform at the university in May, the Student Centers Programming Advisory Board announced Friday.
The Saturday Night Live cast member will appear at the Bob Carpenter Center May 2 as SCPAB's spring performance.
"The format of the show will be similar to that of ‘Inside the Actors Studio' featuring entertaining videos and comedic discussion," said senior Melissa Blazejewski, vice president of advertising for SCPAB. "The show will conclude with a Q&A where Samberg will answer questions about his career, comedy, and experiences."
Tickets for the 8 p.m. show will go on sale April 6 at 10 a.m. and will cost $15 for students and $30 for the general public.
"He's such a funny comedian, we thought students would enjoy coming to a show like that," Blazejewski said.
Samberg joined the cast of SNL in 2005 and has also starred in movies such as Hot Rod and I Love You, Man.
