Cellphone stolen from university student

A 19-year-old student reported her cellphone stolen Sunday morning, according to Newark police spokesman MCpl. Gerald Bryda.

The student told police someone stole her iPhone 4S sometime between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. while she was at a party on Choate Street.

The victim claimed she put her coat and phone down when she entered the party. When she went to retrieve them, the phone was missing.
