The Review is no longer accepting applications for columnists for fall 2011. Please check back at the end of the semester for spring 2012 openings.

Columnists wanted for fall 2011

The Review is looking for talented writers to join our team and write columns each week for our print edition. We’ve had a variety of columns printed in the paper in the past, and we value sharing the opinions of students from across the entire university community.

We’re interested in finding writers who would be able to write knowledgeably about these topics:

Food (food trends, easy-to-make recipes, informal restaurant interviews, etc)

Politics (ideally a pool of three to four writers from across the political spectrum contributing each week on a rotating basis—liberals, conservatives, libertarians and centrists are all encouraged to apply)

Sex/relationships (a discussion of sex and relationships in an honest and meaningful way that provides readers with a look at love on college campuses—male students are highly encouraged to apply)

Science & technology (recent scientific developments, health trends and new advances in technology and what they mean for us)

Pop culture (observing current trends, explaining the root of new fads, what’s important to this generation, etc)

If you have other subjects you’d like to write about for The Review, send us your idea. All interested writers should send a sample column about the topic of their choice and one to two other writing samples to Editor-in-Chief Marina Koren or Executive Editor Nora Kelly.
